The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) is going to be released in Europe for 699 euro. Or at the very least this will be the case in Slovakia where mobile operator Orange confirmed the phone's standard price through a premature listing on its official website. So premature, in fact, that it contains a relatively old render watermarked by @evleaks.

First spotted by @rquandt, the page also confirms some of the hardware specs that have leaked over the past couple of weeks, such as the display, camera, and battery characteristics. The 699 euro price corresponds with an early leak dating back to July which hinted at a 900,000 won (641 euro) price tag for the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition in South Korea.

There's always a price discrepancy between Galaxy devices released in South Korea and Europe or other markets, and there's also a chance that the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will have a lower price at Samsung's online shop compared to mobile operators. Either way, here's a quick recap of what you should be getting for your money once the phone goes on sale.

Galaxy S20 Fan Edition quick spec preview

The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 by 1080, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, according to all the recent leaks. The handset will be released in 4G and LTE configurations; the former is powered by the Exynos 990 SoC while the latter employs the Snapdragon 865 chipset.

The AP should be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The camera setup consists of a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto sensor, as well as a 32MP selfie camera. The phone should be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery.

With the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition launch price revealed, there's not much we don't know about this device ahead of its official September 23 unveiling. There were rumors that it may be limited to 15W charging but they were likely inaccurate, and it remains unclear if the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will ship with One UI 2.1 or 2.5, but here's hoping for the latter. We'll keep you updated as soon as we learn more.
