Samsung makes some of the best wireless earbuds in the business. Earlier models like the Galaxy Buds 2 and the Galaxy Buds Pro have been a great hit. The company intends to follow up on that success this year with the Galaxy Buds Pro 2.
The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will combine the best features from Samsung's many wireless earbuds in addition to further improving the audio and noise cancellation functionality. They may also feature a bigger battery for more longevity.
The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 are likely going to have the same in-ear and canal-type design as the existing Galaxy Buds Pro. This design works very well for Active Noise Cancellation as users already get passive noise cancellation due to the eartips.
Samsung may further improve the custom 2-way speaker system it introduced with the Galaxy Buds Pro for its latest model. A more powerful woofer and tweeter may be utilized to further enhance the sound quality.
The company may also opt for a better inner mic and high SNR mic for improved ANC and Ambient Sound features. The battery in each earbud might be slightly bigger for increased listening time. The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 charging case is rumored to have a bigger 500mAh battery.
Active Noise Cancellation was one of the main features introduced with the Galaxy Buds Pro last year. Samsung might improve it further with the latest iteration of these wireless earbuds. There may be additional controls for ANC. Other features might include touchpad controls and Bixby voice wake-up.
The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 are expected to arrive in the second half of this year, possibly alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. They might cost the same $200 as their predecessors.
