The Galaxy S10 Lite has started getting a new update in the US. The unlocked variant of the smartphone has begun getting the August 2022 security update on almost all carrier networks in the country.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with firmware version G770U1UES6GVH4. The update is available on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, C-Spire, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile networks.

The August 2022 security patch fixes multiple security vulnerabilities, including the ones related to MAC address leaks via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, Samsung DeX, Samsung Knox, and improper access control.

If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in the US with an unlocked model, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in early 2020 with Android 10 onboard. The phone received the Android 11 update in early 2021 and the Android 12 update earlier this year. It will most likely get the Android 13 update in the coming months.
