Galaxy A23’s August 2022 update improves camera and device stability

The latest software update for the Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXU1AVG2. It improves the stability of the cameras on the device while also improving the privacy, security, and stability of the whole smartphone. As per Samsung’s documentation, the August 2022 security patch fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities, including the ones related to DeX, MAC address leaks, and more.

If you are a Galaxy A23 user in Russia, you can download and install the new software update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually if you are familiar with the procedure.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A23 in March 2022 with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 onboard. The phone will receive at least two major Android OS updates in at least three years of security updates. The South Korean firm will soon release the August 2022 security patch to more smartphones and tablets in its lineup before the end of this month.
