Samsung's new high-end smartphones and tablets that were unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event have now received HDR video streaming support from Netflix. The video streaming giant's website mentions the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7+, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in its list of HDR-supported devices.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Tab S7 is missing from the list of devices despite the high-end tablet featuring a flagship-grade, HDR10+ compatible display. The tablet features an 11-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. Despite the iPad Pro featuring an LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the Galaxy Tab S7, it has received HDR support from Netflix. We hope that the video streaming firm adds HDR video streaming support for the Galaxy Tab S7 in the future.

The video streaming firm has also added a bunch of devices in its HD-compatible list. Samsung's new devices included in Netflix's list include the Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A71 5G, Galaxy M31s, Galaxy Tab A7, and Galaxy Tab S7.
