Some customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy S8 from Samsung are receiving a free speaker dock
The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ went on preorder in the US on March 30, and they will be released on April 21. All four major carriers in the US are accepting preorders for the new flagship smartphones. However, if you happen to preorder the Galaxy S8 or S8+ from Samsung’s official website, you might just receive an additional gift from the company.
Samsung is sending out free speaker docks to some customers who pre-ordered either the Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy S8+ from shop.samsung.com in the US. The speaker dock appears to have a USB Type-C port for docking the smartphone, but there are no buttons to control the volume or music playback. Have a look at the speaker dock in the images below.

Got the speaker dock on friday, haven’t receive the phone yet, and I am in US
got my phone, and speaker dock, speaker doc is very poorly made, falls apart, the usb port is not even straight, and when you plug in the charger to keep phone charged, warnings pop up, Use only official charger Phone will charge in Slow mode. Total Trash
And in France, still NOTHING !!!! Come on Samsung…..
I preordered the S8 + today and was offered a 64 GB SD-card for half the price.
Yikes … that looks like garbage … the USB port isn’t even straight. I’m not one to reject a gift, that’s thoughtful of Samsung. But they could at least make it look somewhat valuable.
Seriously?! And they couldn’t give anything to European customers.
The earpods from AKG that are in the Books costs normally 100€/100$. Thats something.
Korea in the first place, than USA and finally Europe.
