The Galaxy S24 series has received tremendous response since its launch last month. Samsung's new flagship smartphone series broke pre-order records in several countries, including India and South Korea. Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy S24 series sales have crossed 1 million in its home country in record time.

Galaxy S24 sales cross 1 million in South Korea in a month, beating Galaxy S8 but falling short of Galaxy Note 10

According to Samsung (via Yonhap News Agency), the sales of the Galaxy S24 series crossed the 1 million mark in just 28 days of its launch in South Korea. The new flagship phone beat the sales of the previous best-selling Galaxy S series phone, the Galaxy S8, by nine days. The Galaxy Note 10 is still the company's best-selling high-end smartphone of all time, though, and the Galaxy S24 was three days short of beating it. The Galaxy Note 10 was launched in 2019.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra accounted for 55% of all Galaxy S24 series sales in South Korea, while the rest of them were the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+.

While Samsung hasn't officially revealed sales figures for other countries, tipster Ice Universe reported that the sales of the Galaxy S24 series are expected to cross the 10 million mark within one month of the launch. In the US, Galaxy S24 sales reportedly crossed 3.2 million units, setting a new record eight years after the slam-hit Galaxy S8.
