Samsung, in partnership with Epic Games, is announcing Galaxy Cup 2.0. It's an event dedicated to Fortnite for Android, just like last year, and everyone can participate as long as they're at least 13 years old. Participants will earn prizes, and of course, the event introduces new cosmetic items as rewards for top players.

Galaxy Cup 2.0 is a Solo competition and, according to Epic Games, it's the first-ever Arsenal LTM Fortnite tournament. The company says it picked this game mode for a couple of reasons. First, the length of matches fits the tournament format, and second, it's very popular with the Fortnite mobile community.

The very best players win a new outfit, back blink, and wrap

The top players in Galaxy Cup 2.0 will be awarded the new Galaxy Grappler outfit, the Hands of the Galaxy back bling, and the Vortextual wrap. You can refer to the tables below to see the requirements for each region.

In addition to these new cosmetics that are reserved for the top players, Epic Games will be giving the OG Llamalaxy spray to all participants who earn at least 20 points during the tournament.

Samsung and Epic Games continue playing nicely

Although Galaxy Cup 2.0 is open to all Android users (rules and regulations apply), Galaxy smartphones and tablets continue providing the easiest way to play Fortnite on mobile, without forcing users to go through the developer's website and other hoops.

Unlike the majority of mobile apps, Fortnite is not available for download through the Google Play Store (or the Apple App Store, for that matter), but it is available at the Samsung Galaxy Store. Just make sure you search for the Epic Games launcher instead of “Fortnite,” or just visit this link.
