Epic Games has announced an increase in the prices of in-game purchases on Fortnite, which include V-Bucks, an in-game currency, and content packs. The price increase will be applicable from October 27, 2023, in 11 regions: the Czech Republic, Denmark, Eurozone countries, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, and the US.

In a blog post, the company says “These adjustments are based on economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations”. Back in June, Epic applied a similar price increase to Fortnite’s in-game purchases in the UK, Canada, and Mexico. Below is a comparison between the old and new prices of a few V-Buck packs available in the game in the US.

As you can see, Epic has increased the prices between 12% and 15%. That might not look like much for a single-time purchase. However, if you make in-game purchases frequently, the amount quickly adds up. Fortunately, the price of Fortnite Crew, which is a monthly subscription hasn’t changed. You can check out the new prices for all regions below.
