[Poll Results!] Which Samsung phone are you looking forward to the most this year?

It’s going to be an interesting year for Samsung smartphones. The company is due to launch its 10th anniversary Galaxy S flagship next month. The Galaxy S10 will be its first flagship smartphone with an Infinity-O display and 5G. It will also be the first time that Samsung offers three different models of one flagship, the Active models notwithstanding.

Many of you are more curious about the long-rumored foldable smartphone. Samsung showed off its display panel in November last year. It’s due to launch the device at some point this year. It’s a new form factor for the company so there’s a lot riding on getting it right the first time.

Last but not the least, there’s the Galaxy Note 10. This might be the first Samsung smartphone to not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. If this decision is made it will surely attract a lot of criticism but it’s going to happen at some point. This will also be a 5G-enabled device possibly with a 6.66-inch display.

There will be all sorts of mid-range and low-end devices in between as well but we’re focusing only on the big ticket items for now. Which of these devices are you looking forward to the most and why? Or are you jumping ship or buying an iPhone? (Seriously, don’t). Vote below and share your reasons with us in the comments.

Results: Rather unsurprisingly, the vast majority of those who participated in this poll are looking forward to the Galaxy S10. The Galaxy Note 10 comes in second place. What’s interesting to note is that not a lot of people seem to be willing to buy the foldable phone. Perhaps they have just grown tired of waiting for it or they won’t feel it would be worth the high price tag.

Any with flat screen, no notch, no hole in the screen. Being fed up with my S8 due to many factors my next choice will probably be the latest A9

Note 10 as long as it doesn’t come with that awful pill shaped cutout.

I’m holding on to my S8+. It still looks and works like new. The only meaningful difference for me would a hole in my screen which i don’t really see as an improvement.

None. I’m keeping my S7 while they figure out a way to avoid punching holes in the display. I know it’s asking too much, but still.

WRONG ANSWER! The correct answer is option number 4 : “Neither, I’m buying an iPhone”. Got 807 people who choose the wrong answer while the other 46 people choose the correct answer. Very clever to the 46 people!

Not really looking forward to any flagships this year as they come with Infinity-O design. Will wait until Samsung release the New Infinity design. Plus, I’m eager to see the actual foldable phone in real life

M series to see if samsung is able to make a good value device without all those compromises they’ve got us used to. If Xiaomi can, i can’t see why samsung shouldn’t

How about one with a battery life of 1 day with WiFi and mobile data enabled and using the phone for 2 or 3 hours

How about you put your phone in flight mode and get 7-8 days battery you fool.. Have some practical queation or discussion at least.

Pardon how practical is to have your phone always in flight mode?

Emraan100

Since there are many types of users who get 10 hour battery backup and some get 2 day battery backup from same model of mobile.. It’s impractical to say i want 1 day or 2 day battery with this and that setting or use.. That’s all i want to say.

Ok so i understand what you mean, anyway i think that given the type of usage specified in the first post then you can get a better or worse battery life. I mean, you take a specific type of usage and then you measure how good a device performs. There are phones that do better than samsung ones, given that usage, so i don’t think the first post was so bad

I think 🤔 you’re right..

if you are not able to understand the point, avoid flaming… your reply does not have sense….. He means the improvement shall be in battery life, not in holes on display ruining everything
Having a S9+ the answer is noone(and sadly is not on the poll)
Let’s see how counterparts will reply with new models….

Piece of cake, ofc an iPhone! Why spend $1000+ for a phone with ugly big hole design plus asymetrical bezels combine with ugly and uninspiring One UI design. And also the $2000 foldable phone will not sell as it is way to overpriced. This is the moment where Samsung has gone the wrong path and will definetly have a sudden decrease of sales. Too bad for Samsung as 2019 will be a game changer for Apple to gain customers from Samsung who are dissappointed by the 10th anniversary phone. Not only Apple, other Samsung users will also switch to either… Read more »

So iPhones are not overpriced right?

Look, the Apple troll returns, much better to spend the same amount on a crApple device with an Ugly fringe at the top of the screen… sure. Samsung do budget, Apple know they can continue rip off their sheep. Quote from Forbes: “Globally, there were 3.6 billion active smartphones in use in June 2018,” says the report. “The world’s most popular smartphone brand was Samsung, boasting 893 million active devices and a market share of 27%. Apple was a close second, with a market share of 24%. Samsung’s lead is mostly due to the company’s selection of budget devices, which… Read more »

We don’t need a keyboard warrior in here. If you are an Apple fan then go to that site. This site is for Samsung fans and in here we talk about Samsung. So, you don’t need to come here and bash Samsung with your long nonsense statements.
