That feature has been present on our Galaxy A70 review unit since day one, so we're not sure why Samsung is saying it has only been added now. For those wondering, accidental touch protection is the feature that prevents touches from being registered on the screen when the phone is in your pocket or a bag and comes standard on Samsung's flagship and mid-range smartphones.
The Galaxy A70 update clocks in at 376 MB and is rolling out over the air in India. You can grab the update by opening the Settings app on the phone, select Software update, then tap the Download and install option. It's unclear if a similar update is rolling out in other markets where the Galaxy A70 is available for purchase, and if it is available for you in a country other than India, do let us know by leaving a comment down below.
