plz trump stop samsung they ignore us !

This is absolutely unacceptable. All other flagships have received the Nougat update except Samsung who is asking for the most money for a device. LG G5, HTC 10, Pixel, OnePlus 3T, Moto Z etc. I cannot believe I paid $850 and we don’t even get an answer on a TRUE timeframe. If I knew about the 3T I would have saved $300-$400 and got one instead of the S7. #massivedisappointment

operators pay to be first, ironically …

Good to know, I didn’t know that yet!

It would probably take another month more or less until all areaa receive the update. If you cannot wait install it yourself via odin. Thanks to sammobile you have all the updates.

Go firmware look for galaxy s7 or s7 edge find uk and downlod it. Download odin 3 from the same page. Extract odin and firmware.
Put the phone in downloader mode (vol- home power) connect the phone and run odin. Tick AP and choose from the firmware extracted earlier the file AP_….. same with BL and CP. Now you will find 2 csc files. If you want to keep the content as it waa ota update choose the home one. The other ia the sane but will delete everything.

Dont click anything else. Click start and wait. When done you will have 7.0 and evwrything as it was. When your country firmware is release do it again.

Because is a samsung firmware this will not void the warranty or trigger nox.

I have an unlocked s7 from spain, done it on mine and its great. Drop resolution to 1080p and it will be faster and battery last longer.

Do it at your own risk.

Unbelievable….unbranded phone will receive the OTA update in the couple of days or weeks, or month ? no one know and Samsung do not communicate about. pffffffff

when for nordic countries ?

What I don’t understand, is why you always read that firmware for providers take longer due to the extra testing, but my unbranded s7 edge did not receive anything while several providers already released their update. So what is the problem here?

Paid premium price , garbage service after ! s7 edge France . Last samsung phone .

This is sooooooo not acceptable! At least release a damn list when other country’s are getting that damn Nougat. Now every single day you have to check for that update that is not in your damn region! Rly if you fail with S8Plus or Note 8 bey bey android bey bey sammy !

This was my last smartphone from Samsung, this update policy I support no further. A customer more or less is not really bad I think Vodafone is paying enough money to Samsung for the previous update.

I’m so tired of waiting… zzzzzzz………

21 days 2 hours ago

Well, most likely, vodafone payed samsung to be one of the first to deliver the nougat update to the flagships so vodafone gets a positive view, and so they get mentioned on articles like these, which results in good advertisement. I think the update for non carrier phones will be there somewhere 5 to 14 days later. I know that the dutch variant has been planned for Februari at the latest. The german version probably will be a little bit sooner or around the same time as the dutch version.
