The Tech Seminar conference is hosted annually in Frankfurt, Germany. But in 2024, Samsung says the event sets the stage for future tech sessions in key locations later this year, including Southeast Asia and Latin America.
This year's event in Germany runs from February 20 to 22, and the company is demonstrating its latest TV models powered by new and innovative AI technologies.
Among the products Samsung is showcasing at the European Tech Seminar are the 75-inch Neo QLED 8K QN900D TV and its OLED Glare Free TVs. We have featured both in hands-on videos at CES 2024.
The Neo QLED QN900D boasts a new NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor, and Samsung claims that its 8K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro technologies offer the best visuals to date.
Samsung is also showcasing the OLED Glare Free technology designed specifically for 2024 OLED screens. It's meant to deliver a high image quality and sharpness while reducing glare from nearby light sources.
Samsung says this new specialized coating for the latest OLED panels “overcomes the trade-off between gloss and reflection.”
Incidentally, the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display employed by the new Galaxy S24 Ultra flagship phone also boasts fantastic anti-reflective capabilities and higher resistance to scratches.
In addition to the Neo QLED and OLED solutions, Samsung is demonstrating the 2024 Tizen OS update at the Tech Seminar and future tech events throughout the year. The 2024 Tizen update brings lots of new features and redesigns parts of the UI.
Lastly, it's worth noting that the Music Frame, which is Samsung's new wireless speaker inspired by The Frame TV, is also present.
Samsung still hasn't revealed when these products will be available for purchase, but the new OLED and Neo QLED TVs for 2024 will likely go on sale before the end of the first quarter.
