As far as the near-term is concerned, Yoon believes that 90 percent of Samsung products would be able to connect to the internet by 2017. IoT is certainly an important market, as it can make controlling various appliances remotely pretty easy, and it remains to be seen if other major manufacturers out there will hop on the IoT train anytime soon.
