Korean newspapers reported about Samsung may switch from processor to Snapdragon 600 Quad-Core instead of their own Exynos processor. The Snapdragon 600 Quad-Core processor is used in the newly introduced HTC One, it is very fast and LTE enabled which makes it very nice. Since the latest benchmarks the snapdragon is everywhere. When we read the latest rumours the Exynos 5450 has overheating issues, this is the main reason why Samsung changed this processor into a octa-core. The only problem the octa-core processor by Samsung isn't LTE enabled which will cost Samsung extra parts space inside the Galaxy S IV. There's a possibility for Samsung to use the octa-core processor in the NON-LTE Galaxy S IV devices. Where the LTE variant of the Galaxy S IV could use the Snapdragon 600 Quad-core processor. Samsung told the press before that they' keep using processors from partners.

SamMobile is able to confirm both devices are still under development. We are not sure if Samsung will drop their own Exynos variant but we can see a NON-LTE firmware I9500XXUAMB9 and a LTE firmware I9505XXUAMB9.

If the rumours are true and Samsung will use the snapdragon 600 instead of the Exynos 5410 octa-core, SamsungExynos better stop tweeting making people happy for nothing!
