Samsung said that in a statement earlier this week to NU.nl. After the news appeared incorrectly in the media. That Apple had sued Samsung in a patent infringement for the cases for mobile devices.
The legal battle in Australia has been running since July and now it is clear that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 can be sold in Australia. Samsung aims for a ban of Apple products which infringes on patents for the 3G technology.
Apple has added nine patents in the main case against Samsung . Previously it was about 13 patents, now there are 22. In addition, Apple says that Samsung has violated four of their design rights.
Apple want to ban the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy SII, Galaxy S, Gio, Mini, Ace, Fit and the Nexus S. According to Apple The Galaxy Tab, still needs to be banned. This is what the newly added patents are for.
