Six months later than expected, Fifth Third Bank has finally introduced support for Samsung Pay. However, customers will be disappointed to hear that registering their card for use with the mobile payment platform isn't a simple procedure. Instead of just inputting the card number, expiry date and security digits like you do with most cards, those who do their banking with Fifth Third will first have to ring their local branch to enroll their card for use with the service.
It's also worth noting that not all of Firth Third's cards are supported, which means that you’re going to have to head over to Samsung’s website to see which are compatible and which aren’t. If yours isn’t there, don’t be too alarmed because the South Korean company is continuously adding new cards to its lineup all of the time. It simply means that you'll just have to wait a little while longer to start using Samsung Pay.
