While making calls might not be the most important thing a mobile device is used for anymore, the communication technology that goes inside a phone is still quite important. Samsung has been making phones for a long time now, and the Korean manufacturer has come up with an infographic that shows just how it has been responsible for many firsts when it comes to mobile communication.

From the world's first commercialized phone with CDMA support to the first smartphone with LTE connectivity, Samsung has certainly done quite a lot. The infographic is full of similar achievements for the company, and while call quality on Samsung phones hasn't exactly been a strength in recent times, it's certainly a good look at how the Korean giant hasn't left any stone unturned in adopting the latest and greatest communication standards ever since it started making phones more than a decade ago.
