Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4 go on sale in over 40 countries starting today

Two weeks after unveiling the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the two foldable smartphones are now available in over 40 countries worldwide. These smartphones offer the best to those planning to upgrade to a foldable phone experience.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 are available in Europe, South Korea, India, the UK, and the US, and Samsung is planning to expand the availability of its latest foldable phones to 130 countries by next month. In the South Korean market, these new phones received close to a million pre-orders within a week of announcement. In India, they received over 50,000 pre-orders within 24 hours.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 brings a more robust and compact design, upgraded primary camera, faster processor, a bigger battery, and faster charging. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 features upgraded cameras, a faster processor, and a slightly wider cover display compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Galaxy Z Flip 4 specifications

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 features a 6.7-inch foldable Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 10MP selfie camera, a 12MP primary camera with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. Its display is covered by UltraThin Glass, and the body is IPX8 rated for water resistance. A 3,700mAh battery powers the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and is compatible with 25W fast wired charging.

The device has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage. It runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 out of the box and is eligible to receive four major Android OS updates. The phone features 5G, eSIM, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It is compatible with 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage space, and a 4,400mAh battery. It has 25W fast wired charging, 15W fast wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. It runs Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software with an improved taskbar. It will get four major Android OS updates.

It has a 10MP selfie camera on the cover screen, a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 4MP under-display camera (under the foldable screen). Speaking of the displays, the Z Fold 4 has a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED cover display and a 7.6-inch internal foldable Super AMOLED display, both featuring a 120Hz refresh rate.

Other features of the phone include 5G, dual-SIM card slot, eSIM, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, UWB, NFC, USB Type-C port, and stereo speakers. It also features an IPX8 rating for water resistance and is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the front and rear. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader as well.
