The S95D uses a 4K QD-OLED panel with HDR10, HDR10+ (ADAPTIVE & GAMING), and HLG. This panel supports a 144Hz variable refresh rate for a tear-free gaming experience. The TV's screen has a first-of-its-kind Glare Free coating that reduces glare and reflections from nearby light sources, such as doors, lights, and windows.

When connected to gaming consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the TV supports a 48-120Hz variable refresh rate. When connected to a PC, it supports a 48-144Hz variable refresh rate. Other gaming features include Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM), AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Game Bar, Mini Map Zoom, Samsung Gaming Hub, and Super Ultrawide GameView.

The Samsung S95D has a 4.2.2-channel 70W speaker system with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus support. The TV also supports the following audio enhancement features:

• Active Voice Amplifier: Uses AI to amplify vocals in the audio to make dialogs sound clearer in movies, music, and videos.
• Adaptive Sound Pro: Optimizes sound by considering the room's acoustics and the audio content. It uses AI to improve voice clarity while still keeping things a bit balanced.

It also features SmartThings Hub built-in, which means it can act as a hub to control all your compatible smart home devices. It also features the SmartThings app, so you can control smart home devices directly using the TV's app. You can stream free videos using Samsung TV Plus.
