With the launch of the Galaxy S22, Samsung introduced a lot of camera-centric features. Now, the company has announced that some of those features are being rolled out to older high-end phones in the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, and Galaxy series.

The company’s older high-end phones have already started getting the new camera features in South Korea, and other markets will get them before the end of H1 2022.

These phones can now use the Galaxy S22’s “Nightography” features like the ability to capture Portrait images using their telephoto camera even in low-light conditions. The Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy S21 FE might not get this feature.

With the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung had also introduced the auto-framing feature for video calling apps such as Facebook Messenger, Google Duo, Google Meet, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The auto-framing feature zooms in and out and pans around to keep up to 10 people in the frame. While the feature was already available on Samsung’s foldable phones, the company says that it has now optimized auto-framing for better performance.
