Samsung has put a lot of effort into making the Galaxy Z Fold 2 a success, not only from a technical perspective but also in regards to marketing. Customers who are willing to pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in India receive a 22% discount on Microsoft Office 365 Family Pack, 4 months of YouTube Premium for free, no-cost EMI, a one-time deductible price of INR 10,999 on Samsung Care+, and 24/7 access to Galaxy Z Premier Service.
Many people avoided the original Galaxy Fold for the simple fact that it was a first-generation device, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is Samsung's third smartphone to boast a foldable display and it looks like the market is warming up to the concept.
Samsung appears to have a strong handle on the whole idea of foldable devices, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is proving that this emerging technology is here to stay. As a result, many foldable tech supporters who have been waiting for a Fold sequel are now joining the party, and this relatively high demand can be observed in India as well as other markets. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 had set new pre-order records in South Korea recently, and the Thom Browne Edition also exceeded expectations in various markets including Thailand, China, and South Korea.
In India, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is available for pre-order for INR 149,999 ($2,036) but customers can drop the price by up to INR 76,340 ($1,036) with trade-in. The foldable is available with 256GB of storage in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black. The device is in stock as of this writing but this could change at any moment.
