The Galaxy A21s has been certified by Thailand regulatory body NBTC where the phone unsurprisingly carries model number SM-A217F. Aside from Dual-SIM and LTE capabilities, the agency doesn't shed any more light on the phone's hardware, but that's not to say that the Galaxy A21s holds many secrets.
One of the more exciting things about the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy A21s is that it might be introduced along with a new Exynos SoC. At least according to an early benchmark, the Galaxy A21s features an unannounced Eynos 850 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM. But aside from having 8 cores, this silicon's characteristics are unknown. There's a higher-than-usual aura of anticipation surrounding this budget phone, but the Exynos 850 has been rather elusive so far, so only time will tell if the early benchmark listing was correct.
While this detail is unmentioned by Thailand's NBTC, the Galaxy A21s should also feature a 5,000mAh battery. Samsung has been equipping its mid-range devices with decently-sized batteries for a while, and the Galaxy A21s won't go against this philosophy. Last year's Galaxy A20s carries a 4,000mAh unit, so a 1,000mAh bump is rather expected.
