A few days ago, the Snapdragon versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra had received the May 2022 security update. Now, the Exynos versions of Samsung’s latest flagships are getting the new security update in Europe.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S22 series bears firmware version S908BXXS2AVDB. It is rolling out across Europe and more markets outside of Europe could get the update over the next few days. The update brings the May 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.

If you are a Galaxy S22 user in Europe, you can now download and install the latest security update. You can do that by either heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install or by downloading the latest firmware file from our database and flashing it manually.

The Galaxy S22 series was the first to run Android 12-based One UI 4.1. The phones received several software updates over the past three months to improve their performance, privacy, and security. Samsung has promised to release four major Android OS updates to the Galaxy S22 series.
