Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S22 series. Pre-orders for the phones went live shortly after, and some users even received their devices earlier than predicted. Today, the company has announced the general availability of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in various markets worldwide.

The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra are now available for purchase through online and physical retail stores across Europe, North America, and South Korea. The smartphones will launch in more markets across Africa, Asia, and South America sometime next month.

Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra pricing and offers

The Galaxy S22 starts at $800 in the US for the 128GB version, and the 256GB version costs $900, but Samsung is currently selling both versions at $800, which essentially means you’re getting a free upgrade to the 256GB version.

The Galaxy S22+ starts at $1,000 for the 128GB version and the 256GB version costs $1,100. Similar to the Galaxy S22, Samsung is currently selling the 256GB version of Galaxy S22+ for the price of the base model ($1,000). The two smartphones are available in Green, Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Pink Gold colors.

The 128GB version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at $1,200. The 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB versions of the phone are priced at $1,300, $1,400, and $1,500, respectively. However, Samsung is selling the 256GB version of the phone for the price of the 128GB variant ($1,200). The smartphone is available in Burgundy, Green, Phantom Black, and Phantom White colors. Graphite, Red, and Sky Blue variants of the phone are exclusive to Samsung’s online store.

The company is also offering $50 Google Play credit with the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+, and a $100 Google Play credit with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. You can also get an exciting trade-in bonus while buying a Galaxy S22 series device in various markets.

Other benefits include a 4-month YouTube Premium membership, a three-month Spotify subscription, six months of free Sirius XM streaming, and 100GB of One Drive storage for six months for free.

Galaxy S22 is the best-selling Galaxy S series to date, going by one-week pre-order numbers

Samsung claims that it has received more pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series within the first week than any other Galaxy smartphone to date. That’s impressive! If this pace continues, it looks like the Galaxy S22 series can outsell even the Galaxy S8 series, which was the best-selling Galaxy S launch in years.

More than 60% of pre-orders were for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which starts at a minimum of $1,199 in the US. The 1TB variant of the smartphone is already sold-out in the US and some other markets.

Bryan Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing Office, Samsung Electronics’ MX Business, said, “We’re thrilled that these devices have already become among our most popular ever. At Samsung, we remain committed to offering boundary-pushing innovation, and these new devices not only provide more choices for Galaxy fans but access to the full Galaxy ecosystem of devices and partners for a truly connected experience. We cannot wait for users to live their lives more easily and connect with others more seamlessly.
