Now, the company has extended that offer to more phones and for a longer period.
Samsung India Support confirmed to tipster Tarun Vats that its free screen replacement program has been extended. It is now available for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21 FE, and Galaxy S22 Ultra users. The period for this screen replacement program is valid until 30 September 2024. Moreover, those devices should have been purchased within three years from the date of the repair request.
Samsung also revealed that while the screen panel will be available free of cost, users have to bear the labor charges and need to have the original purchase bill.
Even with this screen replacement policy, some users in India may face issues, as not all service centers readily agree to replace the screen for free. Users may need to pressure them by calling Samsung's customer care and explaining their issue or posting about it on X (formerly Twitter).

A green or pink-colored line may appear across the screen of some Samsung Galaxy phones. Such an issue usually only happens if the phone has been dropped, damaged, or received a shock at a critical angle. However, in some instances, users claim that a green line appeared on their phone's screen without any damage or drop and that it appeared after installing a software update.
Samsung has yet to clarify or agree on whether a green line can appear without any damage to the device.
