Now that Samsung has announced the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, let us turn our attention to the company's next high-end phones. Samsung is reportedly planning to launch four Galaxy S27 series devices, and some of their camera specifications have now leaked.
According to WinFuture, the four Galaxy S27 series devices are codenamed NM1, NM2, NM3, and NM4, with NM standing for Next Miracle. In comparison, the Galaxy S26 series devices carried the codenames M1, M2, and M3, with M standing for Miracle. Reports claim that the four Galaxy S27 series devices could be the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+
The new report claims that the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ will use a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera with an unknown resolution.
Galaxy S27 Pro
The Galaxy S27 Pro is said to have a 50MP ultrawide camera with a Sony IMX855 sensor, a 1/2.55-inch sensor size, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, and a 16MP front-facing camera with autofocus and OIS. If this information about OIS is correct, it could bring noticeable improvements in low-light photos and videos.
The report does not mention details about the phone's primary camera, but recent reports have claimed that it will use a 200MP primary camera.
Galaxy S27 Ultra
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is claimed to feature a 50MP ultrawide camera with a Sony IMX855 sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom, and a second Sony telephoto camera identified by the part names R1 and R2. It is also said to have a 16MP front-facing camera with autofocus and OIS.
The report claims that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have two telephoto cameras, but we advise taking this information with a grain of salt. Most other reports have claimed that the phone will have just one telephoto camera with a 50MP sensor.
