Samsung could launch the Galaxy S27 Pro alongside three other models in the Galaxy S27 series. The phone will likely debut in early 2027 and bring a premium build, a bright OLED screen with a relatively compact size, faster performance, and Galaxy S Ultra-grade cameras.

Based on recent reports, here are the expected features and specifications for the Galaxy S27 Pro.

Design and display

The phone will reportedly sport a 6.47-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with QHD+ resolution, up to a 120Hz variable refresh rate, HDR10+, and over 2,600 nits of peak brightness. Reports also claim that the phone will feature the Privacy Display technology that first debuted with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It will likely lack the S Pen stylus, though.

Additionally, the Galaxy S27 Pro will feature stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

The phone could feature a 12MP front-facing camera and a triple-camera setup on the rear. The rear camera array could include a 200MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom lens and OIS.

All cameras will likely be able to record up to 4K 60fps videos, while the rear-facing cameras may support up to 8K 30fps video recording. Furthermore, all cameras are expected to support HDR and electronic image stabilization (EIS).

Hardware specifications

The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy processor, at least 12GB of RAM, and a minimum of 256GB of internal storage. Samsung will likely offer 512GB and 1TB versions of the phone as well.

The handset could support all popular GNSS systems and connect to 5G networks globally. Other connectivity features of the device could include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, UWB, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (up to 10Gbps). It will also support Samsung Pay and Wireless DeX.

A 5,000mAh battery could power the phone, supporting 60W fast wired charging, up to 25W fast wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

The phone could come pre-installed with Android 17-based One UI 9.0. It will likely bring new and improved Galaxy AI features, with Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity all available onboard.

Samsung will offer operating system and security updates to the Galaxy S27 Pro for up to seven years from its launch, meaning Android 24 will be its last major software update.

Availability and pricing

While Samsung has not officially announced the device yet, the Galaxy S27 Pro could be priced at $1,200, slotting it cleanly between the cost of the Galaxy S27+ and the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

The phone could go official in February 2027 and become available for pre-order on the same day in select markets, followed by a retail release roughly two weeks later.
