    Galaxy Note 10 is now getting One UI 4.1 update in the US

    Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 4.1 update to the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ in the US. The new update brings a lot of new features and improves the security of the two smartphones. The update was released in Europe last week.

    The latest software update for the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ comes with firmware version N97xUSQU7HVC6. It includes the March 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It also brings the ability to turn off GOS (Game Optimization Service).

    If you are a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ user in the US, you can check for the One UI 4.1 update for your smartphone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

    Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ One UI 4.1 update features

    The One UI 4.1 is built on top of Android 12, and it brings dozens of new features and improves existing ones. The built-in Gallery app now lets you add portrait effects to any image with a person in view. It even lets you convert select images into 24-hour time-lapse videos. You can share multiple pictures and videos with others using a single link. Unnecessary motion photos can be converted to still images to save storage space.

    AR Zone lets you add GIFs from Tenor to your AR Emoji. It also enables you to change background color in mask mode. With Smart Widgets, you can group multiple widgets to save space on the home screen. With Google Duo Live Sharing, you can share your screen with others and watch content together. Samsung Health has been improved to show you better health metrics, better sleep training, and tips to reach your fitness goals.

    Quick Share offers the ability to share Wi-Fi network credentials with others. It also allows you to share images and videos, complete with edit history, so that the receiver of those files and roll back on those edits. Smart Switch offers more customization while transferring data from old devices to new devices. With SmartThings Find, you can share items with others to find those lost things together.

    Samsung has improved the Color Palette feature, so it now shows up in more Google and other supported apps. One UI 4.1 also shows various suggested actions across the entire software. You can add emojis to calendar entries, write better with the Grammarly-powered Samsung Keyboard, and take notes quickly from Samsung Internet and Samsung Gallery in Samsung Notes.

    The Gallery app allows you to remove shadows and reflections from images. One UI 4.1 also lets you adjust the sound balance of any audio output device. You can customize virtual RAM capacity as per your preferences.
