    Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ get price drops in India ahead of Galaxy S22 launch

    Samsung has dropped the prices of the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ in India once again. This move comes ahead of the upcoming launches of the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy S22 series. The company is offering an instant cashback of INR 5,000 (around $66) on both these smartphones if they're purchased via offline stores before December 23, 2021.

    Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ prices dropped in India

    The 128GB variant of the Galaxy S21 is available for just INR 59,999 (around $800) after the INR 5,000 cashback. The 256GB variant of the smartphone is available for INR 63,999 (around $850). The 128GB and 256GB variants of the Galaxy S21+ are priced at INR 71,999 (around $950) and INR 75,999 (around $1,000), respectively. It is being reported that the price drop is only for offline stores in India. The South Korean firm hasn't reduced the price of the Galaxy S21 Ultra yet, and it is out of stock in most stores.

    On Samsung's own online store, the Galaxy S21 128GB is listed with a price tag of INR 54,990 (around $728). The company is offering an additional cashback of INR 5,000 on the smartphone and a cashback of INR 2,000 if the phone is purchased using the Samsung Shop app. The Galaxy S21+ is priced at INR 71,999 (around $950) on Samsung's online store, and you can get an instant cashback of INR 10,000 (around $132).

    Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ specs

    The Galaxy S21 features a 6.2-inch display, while the Galaxy S21+ has a 6.7-inch screen. Both phones have Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Indian variants of both devices run Android 11 and use the Exynos 2100 processor. They have a 10MP selfie camera at the front and a 12MP+12MP+64MP triple-camera setup at the rear.

    The Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ have stereo speakers, a metal frame, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The Galaxy S21 has a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S21+ is powered by a 4,800mAh battery. Both smartphones are compatible with 25W Super Fast Charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

    Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S21 FE in January 2022 and the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in February 2022.
