One UI 6 features: Samsung adds more camera watermark options

With One UI 6.0, one area that Samsung has spent a lot of energy on is the camera experience. The camera app on Galaxy smartphones is getting more user-friendly with One UI 6.0; it has also received a couple of new features and improvements to existing functionality.

Falling under the latter camp are new customization options for the watermark feature. Samsung Galaxy smartphones can add a watermark to the photos you click using the camera app, and on One UI 5.1 and earlier, you can customize elements such as the watermark text, the horizontal alignment of the text, and whether or not the watermark shows the date and time.

On One UI 6.0, Samsung is giving you slightly more control over the watermark. You can now select the vertical alignment of the watermark text, with the option to place the text at the top or the bottom of a photo. Date and time have been broken into separate options, so enabling or disabling one of them no longer affects the other (separate date and time are also available on One UI 5.1.1 on Samsung's foldables).

One UI 6.0 also adds another font option for the watermark. You have the existing options of Roboto, Samsung Sharp Sans, and Noto Serif, but now you can also use the new font Samsung has introduced for the entire user interface with One UI 6.0 by selecting the default setting in the font select menu.

If you have never used the camera watermark feature on your Galaxy phone before, you can find it in the Camera app's settings.
