The One UI 6.0 beta program debuted on the Galaxy S23 series yesterday. The update, now available only in a handful of countries, has a rich feature set, and we spent most of our time yesterday checking out the latest additions and changes. And now, we're sharing our experience in a comprehensive One UI 6.0 beta breakdown review video.

If you're interested in taking a deep dive into the first One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy S23, look no further. We explore everything new with the latest update and compare One UI 6.0 with One UI 5.1 side by side.

    Story continues after the video

One UI 6.0 beta is chock-full of goodies

Samsung's latest update based on Android 14 might bring some of the most significant UI changes in recent memory. One UI 6.0 has completely redesigned the quick toggle panel and media center, and the proprietary skin now comes with a new font. Even Samsung Keyboard emojis have a new look.

Another significant change relates to the content-sharing panel. The item overview window is revamped, and in some cases, you may get more sharing options than before. For example, when sharing a URL, you now have the option to include a screenshot of the website along with the web address.

One UI 6.0 beta also ships with more widgets, including Weather Insights and Custom Camera widgets, and even the Camera app UI got a few minor layout changes for better usability.

There's a lot more to uncover in One UI 6.0 beta, so make sure to check out our video if you want to see everything Samsung has done for this release. And if you don't own a Galaxy S23, sit tight. Chances are that your Galaxy device will either get invited to the One UI 6.0 beta program or will receive the public update before the end of the year or early next year at the latest.
