BREAKING: Galaxy S22 gets One UI 6 beta (Android 14) update

A few weeks ago, Samsung released the first One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S23 series. A few days later, the update was also released to the Galaxy A34 and the Galaxy A54. Now, Samsung has released the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S22 series in South Korea.

Samsung has announced in its official forums in South Korea that the One UI 6.0 Beta Program is now open for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra users in the country. It is a 3GB update that comes with firmware version S90xNKSU3ZWIA, and it is now rolling out in South Korea to those who have registered their devices in the One UI 6.0 Beta Program. The new update also brings the September 2023 security patch to the phones. The update could be released to Galaxy S22 series phones in other countries in the coming weeks.

How to install One UI 6.0 beta update on Galaxy S22?

If you have a Galaxy S22 series phone in South Korea and want to beta-test the One UI 6.0 update, you can install the Samsung Members app on your phone, log into the app using your Samsung account, and click the One UI 6.0 Beta Program banner on the app's home page. Once the registration is complete, you can head over to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install to install the new update.
