Last week, Samsung had released the July 2021 security update to the carrier variants of the Galaxy S21 series in the US. Now, the company is expanding the rollout of the new software update to international variants of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The South Korean firm started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S21 series earlier today in Germany. The latest update, which bears firmware version G99xBXXU3AUG4, brings the July 2021 security patch to Samsung's flagship smartphones. The new security update is also rolling out to the Galaxy S21 series in China (G99x0ZHS2AUG1), Hong Kong (G99x0ZHS2AUG2), and Taiwan (G99x0ZHS2AUG2).

The new update fixes some 20 security vulnerabilities found in Samsung's software. The new update, which aims to fix the Android Auto bug that some Galaxy users were facing, could also include some new features and device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, or Galaxy S21 Ultra user in Germany, you might have already been notified of the new update. If you haven't received any new update notification, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and clicking on Download and install. The Galaxy S21 series was launched earlier this year with Android 11 and One UI 3.1 onboard. It is currently on Samsung's monthly security update schedule, and the devices in the series will receive three major Android OS updates.
