Samsung is bringing back the physical rotating bezel with the Galaxy Watch 3, but the company also seems to be repeating history in other, not-so-positive ways when it comes to its new smartwatch. Specifically, the anticipated ECG feature will not be available out-of-the-box, at least not outside of South Korea. Not only that, but it turns out blood pressure monitoring won't be available from day-one either.

It's unclear exactly when these features will be coming to the Galaxy Watch 3 in other markets outside of South Korea, but we're hoping it won't take as long as it took for the company's original promise to materialize in regards to ECG and the Galaxy Watch Active 2. Samsung had hopefully learned from the launch of ECG on the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and – wishful thinking as it may be at this point – Galaxy Watch 3 owners across the world will be getting both ECG and blood pressure monitoring soon.

The Galaxy Watch 3 will be available this week for the starting price of €429/$400. That's for the 41mm variant, as the 45mm model will go on sale for €459/$430. Were you planning on buying the Galaxy Watch 3, and will you still go along with this plan knowing that ECG and blood pressure monitoring won't be available to you from day one unless you live in South Korea?
