BTS-themed Galaxy S20+ coming to the UAE with Galaxy Buds+ discount

The very special, BTS-themed variant of the Galaxy S20+ 5G is coming to the Arabian Peninsula, starting with the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Pre-orders in the two countries are already live as of today and can be placed directly with Samsung Gulf. As a loyalty bonus, anyone who orders the Android flagship will receive a 50% discount on a matching pair of Galaxy Buds+, as well as a complimentary wireless charger in a perfectly matching color the company refers to as “B. Purple”.

As is the case in other markets where pre-orders already started earlier this month, this special edition of the Galaxy S20+ 5G is only available with 128GB of storage space. It's priced at 3,999 dirhams in the UAE, which amounts to about $1,090 and is in line with how much it costs in most other parts of the world. Trading in your old device can net you up to 2,700 dirhams ($735) in savings, courtesy of Samsung's trade-in program.

Up to 100% off on the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition

The official name of this limited smartphone series is a mouthful, as Samsung called it the Galaxy S20+ 5G BTS Edition. Furthermore, the accompanying Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition series is presently being bundled with every Galaxy S20-series purchase in the UAE except for the B. Purple one. Fans of the world's biggest boy band who buy the latter will still be eligible for a 50% discount on the purple wireless earbuds, though they might have to reach out to customer support in order to get one, Samsung wrote on its website.

The K-pop phenomenon has already been helping Samsung for a while now, so it's to be expected collaborations similar to the BTS one will follow in the near future.
