The model numbers now revealed by the official support pages match our expectations. The 40mm and 44mm Galaxy Watch 5 variants carry model numbers SM-R905F and SM-R915F, respectively. The third variant, known as the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, is listed under model number SM-R925F. (via @rquandt)
All three Galaxy Watch 5 variants in Wi-Fi-only and LTE flavors have also been approved by the FCC in mid-June.
As usual, these early support pages don't contain any photos or details on the hardware powering these smartwatches. The wearables have already leaked in 3D renders, and the design is all but officially confirmed. Nevertheless, the existence of these support pages reconfirms that Samsung has three Galaxy Watch 5 variants in the works and that they should be unveiled relatively soon.
How soon? Well, Samsung hasn't spilled the beans on its upcoming Unpacked event just yet, but leaks and rumors suggest that the company will reveal the Galaxy Watch 5 series to the world on August 10.
This year, it is said that the Galaxy Watch series is abandoning the rotating physical bezel (in fact, we were the first to break the news back in April), and we've seen evidence of this in the recent 3D renders. However, while the standard Galaxy Watch 5 looks a lot like the existing Galaxy Watch 4, the Pro variant features a new design language with a concave bezel.
