A few days ago, Blackmagic, a professional cinema-grade camera maker, launched its first smartphone camera app. Back then, the app was only compatible with the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S24. Now, the company has released an updated version (version 1.1) of the app and expanded support to the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S22 series.

The Blackmagic Camera app is exceptionally advanced yet completely free. It offers pro-level video recording controls, advanced codecs, and deep integration with Blackmagic Cloud-based workflows. It also features direct integration with the popular DaVinci Resolve video editing app.
