A few days ago, Samsung released the June 2022 security update to the US variant of the Galaxy S21 FE. Now, the European variant of the high-end smartphone has started getting the June 2022 security update. Asian Galaxy S21 FE units have already received this update.

The new software update for the Galaxy S21 FE comes with firmware version G990BXXU2CVF1. It brings the June 2022 security patch that fixes 66 privacy and security vulnerabilities that Samsung found. It also brings device stability improvements and general bug fixes.

If you are a Galaxy S21 FE user in Europe, you can download the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file (version mentioned above) from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE earlier this year with Android 12-based One UI 4.0. The phone received the One UI 4.1 update a few months ago. It will get four OS updates, which means it is good to get the Android 16 update in the future.
