Samsung has released the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy A52 5G. The update was also released to the Galaxy A52s 5G a couple of days ago and to the Galaxy A52 earlier this month. The new software update is rolling out in various European countries, but more markets could get it soon.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52 5G comes with firmware version A526BXXU1AUJ2. It includes the October 2021 security patch, which according to Samsung, fixes more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. It also contains general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
You might have already received the update if you are a Galaxy A52 5G user in Europe. If you haven't received it yet for some reason, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A52 5G earlier this year alongside the Galaxy A52 with Android 11-based One UI 3.0. The phone received the One UI 3.1.1 update a couple of months ago.
