Samsung has released the Android 12 update to the Galaxy A32. The update is currently rolling out in India, while other countries could get the update over the next few weeks. The 5G variant of the phone, the Galaxy A32 5G, had received the Android 12 update a couple of weeks ago.

The Android 12 update for the Galaxy A32 comes with firmware version A325FXXU2BVD6. It also brings the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 80 privacy and security vulnerabilities.

If you are a Galaxy A32 user and live in India, you can now download and install the Android 12 update on your smartphone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Galaxy A32 Android 12 update features

The Android 12 update for the Galaxy A32 brings a refreshed UI design with the Color Palette feature, new widget designs, improved AoD and Dark Mode, improved sharing menu, and more lock screen widgets. Samsung has also enhanced its stock apps, including Samsung Calendar, Samsung Messages, Samsung My Files, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Keyboard.

As per the official changelog, the Gallery app now allows removing date, time, and location information while sharing images. It also creates better stories from your pictures and videos and offers easier album sorting. Samsung Keyboard gets animated emoji pairs, a quick access bar for stickers and GIFs, and Grammarly-powered language suggestions.

You can now change the audio output location directly from the lock screen. The camera app has been cleaned up, and video recording starts as soon as you touch the shutter button in the Video mode. The update also brings Portrait mode for pets and adds an enhanced document scanning feature.

AR Emojis get up to 10 poses or expressions. You can make dance moves for AR Emojis, use them as a profile picture for your Samsung account, design your own clothes, and use them as a face mask during video calls. Bixby, Bixby Routines, and accessibility features have been improved, too. Samsung DeX, Edge panels, and picture-in-picture have been enhanced.

Privacy and security have been improved, too. There’s now a dedicated Privacy Dashboard, quick setting toggles to enable/disable camera and mic across the system, and privacy indicators for active camera and mic usage status. You can choose to let apps use approximate or precise locations. The phone notifies you when any app or service accesses your clipboard data.
