Google launched Circle to Search with the Galaxy S24 series. It can provide information about anything on the screen around which people draw a circle. Since then, the company has been slowly but consistently adding small features to it. Now, Google is giving Circle to Search a major upgrade.
At the last Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series, Google announced that it giving Circle to Search two new upgrades.
First, Circle to Search can now provide AI Overviews for more kinds of visual search results, including places, trending images, and unique objects. This will help you learn more about those objects more easily and more quickly.
Second, Circle to Search can now recognize contact numbers, email addresses, and URLs, and provide you with options to call those numbers, send an email to those email addresses, and go to those URLs, making it easier for you to perform those actions.
At the moment, there’s no information if the updated Circle to Search is available only for the Galaxy S25 series or older Galaxy phones and other Android devices as well. Even if it is available exclusively on the Galaxy S25 at the moment, we expect Google to offer it to other devices eventually.
