Samsung has started rolling out new software updates to the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. They bring the February 2026 security patch, which fixes 37 security issues.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series units in South Korea are the first to get it. The software updates for the three tablets carry firmware version X70xXXSAEZB6, X80xXXSAEZB6, and X90xXXSAEZB6, respectively.
The Galaxy Tab S8 lineup units in other countries should get the latest security update in the next few days. People can check for and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Recently, Samsung showcased the latest stable version of its Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5. Based on Android 16 QPR2, it brings a new UI and new features. All the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets are eligible to get it. The brand is expected to start rolling it out to eligible devices in the next few days.
