The Galaxy S21 FE is now available for purchase globally, and Samsung is selling the phone in the United States for the starting price of $699. The phone has just hit the shelves, so it probably won't be discounted anytime soon, but Amazon just went ahead and is giving away $100 Gift Cards to Galaxy S21 FE customers in the USA.

Amazon offers $100 Gift Cards to customers that pick the Galaxy S21 FE with 128GB of built-in storage. Furthermore, up to an additional $511 can be added to the Amazon Gift Card balance if you choose to trade in an older phone upon purchasing the Galaxy S21 FE.

The Amazon Gift Card doesn't have an expiration date and can be redeemed online in a browser or using the Amazon app on a mobile device. In essence, an Amazon Gift Card can be more advantageous than a rebate obtained at Samsung's online stores because Amazon Gift Cards are used to purchase from a catalog of millions of products available at Amazon.

On the other hand, if you choose to buy the Galaxy S21 FE from Samsung's online store in the USA, you get a pair of Galaxy Buds Live wireless earbuds (valued at $169) for free. And you might need them, given that the Galaxy S21 FE doesn't ship with earbuds of any type.

Galaxy S21 FE is sounding better

Our primary concern regarding the Galaxy S21 FE is its launch price, especially considering that the phone was released this close to the imminent Galaxy S22 unveiling. However, with Amazon now helping customers save $100 (in Gift Cards), the Galaxy S21 FE is much more of a sound proposition.

The new Fan Edition phone from Samsung is equipped with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz display, the Snapdragon 888 / Exynos 2100 chipset, 6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities. The phone has stereo speakers, and its body is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.

We'll be talking more about the Galaxy S21 FE in our upcoming review, so stay tuned and in the meantime, feel free to check our Galaxy S21 FE hands-on video below.
