Samsung is ending One UI 6.0 Beta Program for Galaxy S23 this week

Samsung has announced through its Community Forum in South Korea that it is ending the One UI 6.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy S23 this week. It means that we could soon get the stable One UI 6.0 update, starting with South Korea and other markets where the One UI 6.0 Beta Program was available.

One UI 6.0 Beta Program for Galaxy S23 ends this week

The Galaxy S23 series received seven One UI 6.0 beta updates, and Samsung continuously fixed bugs and improved the performance and stability of the software with each new beta release. Now, the company is planning to release the stable Android 14 update if it doesn't find any critical bugs with the latest beta version of One UI 6.0. However, the community moderator has cautioned that things may get delayed if the company finds new issues with the latest One UI 6.0 beta update. The company announced last week that it fixed most of the issues with the latest beta update.

Samsung released the first Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S23 series two months ago. Every couple of weeks, the company released a new beta version of the software with bug fixes and new features. While the first few beta updates received a few new features, the newer releases focused on bug fixes, stability, and UI smoothness.

The company has also released the One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy A34, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, Galaxy F23, Galaxy M23, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Naturally, the Galaxy S23 will get the stable Android 14 update first, as it was the first Samsung phone to get the One UI 6.0 beta update. Other phones will subsequently get the stable Android 14 update before the end of this year.
