Samsung has launched its 2023 lineup of QD-OLED TVs, consisting of the S90C and the S95C, in India. This is the first time that the South Korean firm has launched OLED TVs in India. The company will now offer a tough fight to the likes of LG and Xiaomi, which have a presence in the country's expanding OLED TV market.

The S90C and the S95C come in three screen sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. Pricing starts at INR 169,990 (around $2,062), and Samsung says that it is offering a two-year warranty for both TVs. The company is offering up to 20% cashback on select credit cards. There are EMI options, too, starting at INR 2,990 (around $35) per month.

Both TVs will be available through Samsung.com, Samsung Stores, and authorized retailers across the country. Samsung says that both its new QD-OLED TVs are made in India.

Both these TVs feature 4K QD-OLED panels from Samsung Display, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, perfect blacks, and 100% color volume. They are compatible with HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming, HLG, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Atmos, and ALLM. They have an anti-reflective coating and can reach a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits.

The S90C has a 2.1-channel 40W speaker setup, while the S95C has 4.2.2-channel 70W speakers. They both have Q-Symphony 3.0, which offers the ability to reproduce sound from TV speakers and compatible Samsung soundbar speakers simultaneously. This new version of Q-Symphony can use the TV's Neural Processor for more immersive sound. They also have OTS+ (Object Sound Tracking+), Active Voice Amplifier, and VESA mount support.

Connectivity features include four HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), three USB ports, an ethernet port, an optical audio out port, an RF port, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, Tap Sound, Tap View, AirPlay 2, DLNA, and Miracast. The TVs support Dual Bluetooth Audio and can turn into Bluetooth speakers when needed. They both have One Connect Box and SolarCell Remote (charges from ambient light and radio waves) with a USB Type-C charging port.

Both TVs run Tizen and have access to all the popular audio and video streaming services. They also feature Alexa, Ambient Mode+, Bixby, Microsoft 365, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings Hub, and Wireless DeX. The TVs are built for gaming, offering Samsung Gaming Hub, Game Bar 2.0, Mini Map Zoom, Super Ultra Wide Game View, and Virtual Aim Point.

Mohandeep Singh, SVP of Consumer Electronics Business at Samsung India, said, “We are pushing the boundaries of innovation with our new range of OLED TVs. We have made OLED TVs better by combining Neural Quantum Processor 4K with OLED panels to deliver outstanding picture quality. The launch of new OLED TVs will enable us to further strengthen our leadership in the premium TV market.
