A fan-made concept, which the creator claims is heavily based on recent leaks, rumors and speculation, has surfaced online showcasing what could potentially be the design of the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8.

The renders highlight a handset that sports a near bezel-less design, with a 6.3-inch Infinity Display (18.5:9 aspect ratio) sitting pride of place on the front and a dual-camera setup enclosed in a protruding bump on the rear.

More notably, the images depict Samsung's decision to embed a traditional fingerprint reader next to the LED flash on the back of the Galaxy Note 8, but the firm's reportedly left some extra space to make the sensor a little easier to locate.

The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature an Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 CPU, 6GB of RAM and at least a 3,300mAh battery. It should also ship running Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung's Experience plastered over the top.

As for pricing, reliable tipster Evan Blass believes that the Galaxy Note 8 will be Samsung's most expensive smartphone to date, carrying a price tag of $1,000 in South Korea and a minimum of $1,100 in other regions.

There's no denying the fact that's an awful lot of money to spend on a smartphone, and we'd love to know whether the extortionate pricing will stop you from picking one up — so be sure to cast a vote in the poll below.

Poll Results: The data reveals that the majority (47%) of readers won’t be willing to pick up the Galaxy Note 8 if it’s priced at more than $1,000, while 33% said that they’ll be purchasing the handset regardless of how much it costs.

Will the $1,000+ price tag stop you from picking up the Galaxy Note 8?
