Samsung One UI 5.1.1 beta: Which devices will get it?

While we were waiting for Android 14 and One UI 6.0, Samsung has taken us by surprise by launching a One UI 5.1.1 beta program. One UI 5.1.1 will make its official debut with the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 later this month and is expected to be released for most existing Galaxy foldables and a few other devices (including tablets) later in the year, ahead of the eagerly anticipated One UI 6.0 update.

But Samsung is giving some customers a chance to take One UI 5.1.1 for a spin ahead of its official release through the beta program, which is great news. To kick things off, Samsung has released the One UI 5.1.1 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Tab S8 series (only the 5G models), but what about other Galaxy devices that are eligible for the One UI 5.1.1 update?

Which devices will get One UI 5.1.1 beta?

Well, Samsung has not officially revealed that information, unfortunately. And considering One UI 5.1.1 is not going to be a big update, we can assume Samsung will limit beta access to just a few devices. Still, we have made a list of devices we think could get (or have already received) the One UI 5.1.1 beta that you can check out below.

Again, since there is no official confirmation from Samsung, the list above is tentative. We will update the list whenever we get more details or once another device is added to the One UI 5.1.1 beta program, so be sure to bookmark this page and keep checking back from time to time. Also keep an eye out on our homepage for all the One UI 5.1.1 (and One UI 6.0) news in the coming weeks.

OnePlus Open supports stylus input, but should Galaxy Z Fold owners care?

According to OnePlus, its first foldable phone doesn't support stylus input, which obviously gives Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 5, one of the few direct competitors to the OnePlus Open, an advantage. But it turns out the OnePlus Open does support stylus input because the Oppo Find N3 supports it. If you aren't already aware, the […]
