Samsung launches Galaxy Tab A8 in India with pre-order benefits

The Galaxy Tab A8, which was announced a few weeks ago, has made it to the Indian market. Samsung's new affordable tablet carries a price tag of INR 17,999, and it will be available via Amazon.in, Flipkart, and Samsung's online store, starting January 17 (12 PM onwards). The tablet is available in Grey, Pink Gold, and Silver variants.

Samsung is offering a cashback of INR 2,000 on its new tablet, provided that you use an eligible credit or debit card for the purchase. The company is also offering the Book Cover accessory for the tablet for just 999.

The Galaxy Tab A8 features a 10.5-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has four speakers in a stereo setup, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It uses the Unisoc Tiger T618 processor,  3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB storage, and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Samsung has equipped the tablet with a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing camera with autofocus. It can record Full HD 30fps videos using front and rear cameras. The Galaxy Tab A8 runs Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box. It has a 7,040mAh battery, 15W fast charging, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0.
