Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The update brings the latest security patch to the company's newest flagship lineup.
Samsung usually rolls out new updates for its devices in Korea first, but the Galaxy S26 series' May 2026 update has made landfall in Europe instead. However, it should become more widely available over the coming days.
At around 560MB (build number S94xBXXS2AZE2), it's a small release focused solely on enhancing device security. This is unsurprising, as Samsung is currently focusing its efforts on developing the One UI 9 (Android 17) update for the Galaxy S26 series.
When it comes to new features, One UI 9.0 isn't exactly a massive update either. However, if you're in Germany or the UK, you can already try it out by enrolling in the beta program through the Samsung Members app. Other markets eligible for the beta program include the USA, Korea, India, and Poland.
To download updates on your Galaxy S26, S26+, or S26 Ultra, open the Settings > Software update menu and tap Download and install.
